Naoris Protocol has launched a quantum-resistant blockchain network aimed at safeguarding digital assets against the threat posed by future quantum computers. The project addresses concerns that next-generation quantum machines could render current encryption methods obsolete. The launch marks a significant step in efforts to future-proof blockchain infrastructure against emerging computational threats.
The mainnet has undergone large-scale testing prior to its public debut, demonstrating considerable capacity and resilience. During this testing phase, the network processed more than 106 million transactions while blocking approximately 603 million security threats. The testing period also involved onboarding a select, invite-only group of validator operators to help stress-test the system.
At the core of the network is the native NAORIS token, which serves multiple functions within the ecosystem. The token is used to secure transactions, enforce network rules, and sustain trust across the blockchain. Its role is central to the overall operation and governance of the protocol.
